『スーラ　グランド・ジャット島』

フランスの新印象派の点描法の画家であるジョルジュ・ピエール・スーラ。

『点描』とは、異なる色の小さな点を隣り合わせに置くことによって、遠くから見た場合にその異なる色が混ざって見えるように配慮した技法のことです。

数多くの代表作の中でも点描法を用いて描いた「グランド・ジャット島の日曜日の午後」は２年の歳月をかけて描かれた作品です。

みなさんも点描法を用いて描いてみましょう！

A special technique is used to create a three-dimensional effect. Have fun while drawing!
Use a 25 cm round canvas.

アンリ・マティスの『金魚』は、美しい色使いや平面的なデザインが特徴的であり、現代美術の中でも非常に有名な作品の1つです。

『金魚』に使用されている色彩は、水槽内の金魚の美しさと、水の透明感を表現するために使用されています。
